Course Introduction
The program introduces you to the various business activities involved in the small business operating environment with a focus on the retail industry. This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to work in a retail sector or other business sectors.
Course Objective
The program is designed to enable students to:
1) Understand various aspects of the small business with a focus on the retail supply chain in order to achieve specific business goals
2) Analyse and interpret financial data, and devise a plan of action to address business issues.
3) Demonstrate skills to manage employee performance to achieve specific goals.
4) Apply a variety of communication tools to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
