The Pink Room International Nail Academy ("PRINA", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

By using this website, contacting us, or enrolling in our courses, you agree to us handling your personal data as described here.

1. What personal data we collect

• Your name, contact number, email address and mailing address.
• Your NRIC, FIN or passport number, date of birth and nationality, when needed for enrolment, certification or legal requirements.
• Education and work background, and copies of certificates you give us for admission.
• Payment and billing details for course fees.
• Your course records, attendance, assessment results and certificates.
• Photos and videos taken at our classes, workshops, graduations, competitions and events.
• Anything you tell us when you enquire by phone, WhatsApp, email, social media or in person.

2. Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiries and give you course advice.
• To process your application, enrolment and payments.
• To run classes, assessments and exams, and to issue certificates.
• To register you for competitions, events and industry programmes you sign up for.
• To send you updates about your course, schedules and school notices.
• To tell you about new courses, workshops and events, if you agree to receive them.
• To meet our legal and regulatory duties.

3. Photos, videos and testimonials

We may use photos, videos and comments from our classes and events on this website, our social media and our marketing materials. If you do not want your photo, video or testimonial used, tell us and we will stop using it in new materials and remove it from our website and social media where we can.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it when needed, with:

• Examination, certification and awarding bodies, and competition organisers, for courses and events you take part in.
• Service providers who help us run the school, such as payment, IT and printing providers. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
• Government agencies or other parties when the law requires it.

Some of these parties may be outside Singapore, for example international certification bodies. When we transfer data overseas, we take steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

5. Marketing messages

We will only send you marketing messages if you agree to receive them. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or contacting us using the details below. We respect Singapore's Do Not Call rules.

6. This website

This website does not use advertising or analytics tracking. Some pages load services from Google, such as Google Maps and Google Fonts, which may collect basic technical data like your IP address. Messages sent through our website contact form are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form email service. Links to other websites, such as our blog, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google Reviews, are run by those companies under their own privacy policies.

7. How we protect and keep your data

We take reasonable security steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, use, loss or disclosure. We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used.
• Correct personal data that is wrong or out of date.
• Stop using your personal data. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue some services, such as your enrolment, and we will explain what that means before we act.

We will reply as soon as we can, usually within 30 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests and will tell you the cost first.

If a student is under 18, we may ask a parent or guardian to give consent for the student's personal data to be collected and used.
