Aftermath of Kawaii Melody Nailart workshop

Here’s some pictures from the Melody-Pro Nailart workshop last Saturday. The girls had lots of fun learning the kawaii Nailart.

We were amazed because the girls only started on the Melody Head in the late afternoon, and they were able to produced the nailart themselves in just after 2+ hours of teaching & hands on. Principal Rachel, managed to teach everyone in such a way that everyone was able to actually make Melodys that are so adorable!

After the first and second demo, Principal Rachel went round to each student individually. She handmade My Melody nail art for each students to take home as a sample to learn and practice. She is a thoughtful and detailed educator.

KAWAII KITTY DESSERT NAILART WORKSHOP

With the next Kawaii Melody Pro Nail art workshop coming up, I thought it would be a good time to blog about our last workshop by PRINA.Club.

The last workshop was the KITTY DESSERT NAILART WORKSHOP!
It is everyone’s favourite character and we had two classes due to popular response.
The workshop this time round is different from the previous Kitty workshop. We taught cutesy desserts like ice cream, donut etc since festive seasons were round the corner!!

The workshop was taught by our Principal, Rachel Tang. Rachel has been teaching for many years now, and is more than experienced to teach the relevant tips and nail techniques. After all, she is probably the only Japan Level 1 Licensed Nailist from JNA in Singapore.

The day started with Rachel sharing the nailart she created and what the students will be able to achieve at the end of the workshop. With these cute images in mind, everyone was excited andr eady to absorb all that she had to share that afternoon!

At PinkRoom’s workshop, you will make every cents worth as the trainers willing share and teach every little pointers you will need to know to create the prefect nailart. From proportions, to colors, to positioning and which product to use and how to control the product. The workshops were sponsored by Angel.Pro, Charisma and 1Q32. The students used the PASTEL and TRADITIONAL colors from Charisma, and SUNSHINE RAINBOW SERIES and YUMMY PASTEL SERIES from Angel.Pro to create the kawaii nailart.

Pink Ribbon High Tea

PinkRoom was invited as a sponsor to the recent PINK RIBBON HIGH-TEAto raise awareness for breast cancer. Our PRINA Girls were there to provide free express 1Q32 INSTANT.GELLISH manicure for the 300 over guests who attended the party. The nail products were kindly sponsored for our usage by 1Q32 INSTANT.GELLISH– the only 1 step gel polish that works!

We feel proud to be a sponsor of this event, since we are surrounded by girls everyday in school! Many of them were dressed in pink in support of the Breast Cancer Month. We hope to be a good influence to our students as breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed form of cancer among women in Singapore, with about 1,490 new cases detected yearly. We would like to take this chance to spread awareness to all the everyone. It would be beneficial for more woman to know more about this illness, as for the men they can hep to spread this knowledge to their families.

The event was organised by the Singapore Cancer Society, and was held at Movida Room @St James Power Station last Saturday. The crowd started coming in at 1pm. Every one was so excited to get their nails done upon seeing the yummy INSTANT.GELLISHcolors we brought.

In support of the Pink Ribbon, we chose different shades of pink from the wide range of colors that 1Q32 INSTANT.GELLISH has to offer. It was actually very heart-warming to see how united everyone was at the event. Even the guys were dressed in pink.

BREASTCANCER.pngEveryone was raving about how easy theINSTANT.GELLISH applies. No mess, no smudges and they could continue with the other activities without worries. Check out the different shades of pink we had with us that day.

Singapore Merlion Nailart

It is always an enjoyable experience promoting our little Singapore to other countries. This time, we had a group of Japanese Nailist from Tokyo for a 1-day workshop at our Academy. We had a mini-competition where everyone gets to cast their votes for their favourite nail art work. The winners would be awarded nail products.

The Advance Nail Extension Demo was done by our educator, Joe Chua. It was done on a male nailist. Don’t be surprised as there were quite a number of guys attending the class. It is a common trend in Japan for guys to be doing nails. One of the most enjoyable moments, is when both local and Japanese nailist spend time interacting and learning each others cultures.
