Conducting Melody Pro Class again!

Due to high demand, Pink Room will be conducting the Melody Pro Nail Art Class again!

Not many of you know know about the Sanrio character, My Melody, but I’m sure My Melody has garnered lots of fans and audiences just by its ‘kawai’ appearance. Spotting its signature red/pink hood and its long bunny ears, My Melody has captured the attention of many women ranging from 12-years-old to 40-years-old and above!

Pink Room is conducting the Melody Pro Nail Class in three different levels, on three different days:

PinkRoom Pink Open House

Pink Room is all hyped up for this Saturday’s Open House! We have already received many registrations and enquiries about it, hence, we are calling all nail fanatics to NOT miss this chance. As of 19 August 2011, The Pink Room International Nail Academy is a registered Private Education Institution (PEI) with the Council of Private Education in Singapore under Section 36(1) of the Private Education Act and our diploma is registered under the Ministry of Education (MOE).

We aim to deliver high quality nail class, hence, our syllabus has been scrutinised and constantly updated. Setting high standards for ourselves, we do not compromise on our student’s class time and we encourage our students to come for make up classes whenever they miss a class to ensure that they do not miss out any nail tips or techniques. Their result reflects on our reputation. Pink Room has hired dedicated and patient nail educators to teach our students. Specially trained and selected, we are very strict with our educators as a good nailist does not make him or her a good teacher.

Pinkroom Cup 2013

Thank you to everyone who had turned up on 17th Nov for our PINKROOM CUP 2013.

To all PRINA students & graduates who had competed. Thank you for enduring & making it till the actual day of competition for having the guts and confidence to go through the competition, although you might have totally no confidence and would like to give up.

We know that each of you are not the same after the competition. The time to practice & train for the competition, the bonding you have with your school-mates, the achievement of overcoming your own stress during the competition time; most importantly, the self-realization that you can actually do it, that you are much much more capable and skilled than what you think you are.

So, give yourself a pat on the back, and smile with the bright happiness of confidence you gained from this process and tell yourself “I did it!!” Cause You deserve it!
Overseas Competitors:
Thank you for traveling all the way to our small Singapore to compete in a foreign environment. Our apologies for the difference in culture, temperature, or any way we had not done to your satisfaction as a host.

CHANEL KITTY Sweet² Kawaii Workshop Class [Aug’13]

A class full of kawaii-ness with Principal Rachel Tang.
Each student “discovered” the secret Japanese-styled nail art techniques to create the oh-so-cute Kitty in the classic Chanel outfit & Chanel signature designs.

Most students in the class did not have much knowledge on creating the kawaii nailart. But by the end of the class, they were able to create the cutesy nailart that are almost 100% close to the real thing by using acrylic powder & liquid monomer!

Hands on time~~ Students were so excited to be able to do their very own Chanels and Kitties!!

Rachel had guided each student throughout the whole class to make sure that they are doing it the right way. With the correct basic foundation, creating nail art will become much easier.

Rachel had been in the nail industry for more than 10 years and have trained and taught so many successful nailists in the nail industry today. If you haven’t already know, Rachel was a lecturer in a local polytechnic before she started PinkRoom. Rachel is also holder of the highest nail licence in Japan – the JNA 1.

She had the special ability to TEACH, and made sure that each student really understand. After which, the cliche line follows “Practice makes perfect“.

Rachel guided each and every student in class to ensure that she learns the correct technique. Having pick up the right technique is akin to having strong foundations. With that, each student will not need to waste time and efforts on try and error and correcting herself. Or trying to figure what went wrong.

Apart from practical hands on during the Kawaii Nailart workshop, Rachel will go through the theory and proportions to achieve the most accurate Kitty! We won’t want our Kitty to look too different from the original, do we? Thanks to the magic proportion & corrections by Rachel, our students were able to create close to perfect Kitties

After the one-day class with Rachel, each student brought home precious knowledge, tips & tricks, their very own set of kawaii nailart that they made, a certificate & fond memories of the class!!

PRINA NEW CAMPUS OPENING/ TAT (SG) SOFT LAUNCH EVENT/ AWARD CEREMONY

In conjunction with our academy’s 10th year anniversary this year, The Pink Room International Nail Academy had planned a whole array of events for our graduates, students, friends & family. All the activities are to show our thanks & gratitude to everyone. The Pink Room International Nail Academy would not be able to celebrate this special occasion if not for everyone’s support & love for the school.

Our academy will continue to uphold our premium standards in providing professional & hobby nail courses locally & internationally. For starters, we have expended our campus to provide a bigger & more comfortable learning experience for our students. Graduated students are also welcomed to return to the school to practice & seek advice from our trainers. Our facilities are open to all our students & their nail models.

To celebrate the relocation, we had invited all our students to share our joy. Our Principal Rachel Tang & Vice Principal Joe Chua had the honor of cutting the ribbon at the ribbon cutting ceremony. It was a meaningful event to mark the start of our continuous journey at our new campus.

*SOFT LAUNCH OF TAT (SINGAPORE) NAIL SHOP*

In collaboration with TAT Japan & our sister company, The Shoppink Room, we launched the opening of the nail supply store with promotions for everyone. The response was great! Every one was excited to have more nail products that they can choose from. The nail supply store brings in a wide range of nail tools, products, accessories, decorations & essentials. This is a great additional to the growing nail industry in Singapore. It provides high-quality, fairly-priced nail products from Japan that are not currently found in Singapore.

*PRINA DIPLOMA CERTIFICATE AWARD CEREMONY*

A graduation ceremony was held for our graduated students who successfully achieved the PRINA DIPLOMA CERTIFICATE. As our Principal Rachel Tang said during the ceremony speech, our certificates are highly sought after for it endorses the high standards of training. The certificates can only be achieved if the student meets the expectations of the school. Our standards are widely known among people in the nail industry.

The Pink Room International Nail Academy is the only school registered with the Singapore’s Ministry of Education to provide Diploma courses legally in Singapore.

A nailart demo was conducted for all our guests to share the latest & most popular nailart techniques. Tips & tricks were given to ensure that the nailists know what to take note of.

Principal Rachel Tang is well-known among students for being generous with her knowledge & advice. Rachel believes in using her years of experience & expertise to help each student to kick start their salon business; and help solve any hiccups each student meets.

The night of celebrations ended with a photo taking session with our Principal Rachel Tang & Vice Principal Joe Chua. Each student took photos with our trainers in appreciation for their teaching throughout their learning journey with The Pink Room International Nail Academy.

The star-studded judging panel for this year’s competition includes our very own Principal & Founder Ms. Rachel Tang, Nailympic’s Head Judge Ms. Lysa Comfort from USA, world-renowned Celebrity Nail Artist, Ms. Eriko Kurosaki from Japan and Ms. Galina Zelenova from Russia.

The PinkRoom Cup officially propel PinkRoom’s status in the international nailist stage. This event has gotten the industry buzzing and is sure to be covered extensively by international Nail and Beauty media.
